The Mirror

Speaking through the mirror, gazing upon the other’s eyes in the reflection becomes the way of communication. This has shown me the way I am, the way I move, the way I interact. This has reinforced the outer world existence as I observe the outer world incessantly. I rebel and choose to look them in the eye, absent of the mirror. It’s funny to see how they respond. Do they recognize that this is happening between us?

What is happening between us? Is this real? Is this authentic? Is this real connection? Is it a false connection?

The idea of connection is there, yet it’s not real enough to remember.

Locked in vanity.

Locked into self.

Locked into separation.

Locked in isolation.

Locked in the mirror.
